Intake manifold questions

You could always find a first generation Torquer intake and port it like the “Ugly Torquer” I did for my son. Lol

yeah, i'm aware of the street master only being 4bbl.

the SP2P as a 2bbl doesn't shock me, but in all these years i've never seen one in the flesh.

The last 2bbl sp-2p I saw was at a swap meet and actually for a big block, didn't ask, didn't care since that's not what I have.
The sp-2p I had was a 4bbl small block version

is it the angle or the position of the shot or does the carb mount angle forward kinda like on a marine motor? that's wild. man... i'd forgotten how tiny those ports are!
I thought that was a feature on just about all intake manifolds to make up for the backwards tilt of the engine and transmission to achieve proper drive line angles.

I really don’t know, you got me there.

are they and i just never paid attention? or maybe it's something in my lizard brain that just ticks the box and stamps "QC OK" because it's logically supposed to be that way...

If it was all I had to choose from is it or a Chinese made manifold, I would take this one in a heartbeat.

I was able to find out more info on this manifold. Was basically a small carb manifold designed for mpg gains on stock smog engines of the 70's it seems. Not the bargain I had hoped it was. I did not buy it once I found out what it actually was. Thanks guys.
There is no EGR valve on it, not California smog.

The street dominator is what I run on my 340, in my van. The main reason I bought it back in the 70's is for the clearance in the dog house.
If you want a really good old school intake, find a Street Dominator. Also a single plane, but they lose nothing on the bottom end. They have a full, open plenum and not the funnel crap of the Streetmaster. Still available reasonably.
