well some updates. i have finally found something significantly wrong/damaged on the car. ill drop updates and photos after some tnt this weekend. see if it cleared up the slow af its always been. ill show you how i found it. see if you can see what i seen.

I see what looks like a log that starts around where you come off of the Transbrake, RPMs and Boost climb, your TPS seems to be going downhill (foot letting off?), and then a 1-2 shift where RPMs drop and the AFR correction goes crazy. Hard to say without more data. The TPS and the closed loop correction are the only things that stand out to me, but I ain’t no pro tuner either.
 
my very expensive reid 2pc glide was assembled by a moron at ptc. when i purchased it. wrong input shaft, wrong stator height, wrong enough it ruined everything. the converter would load up with fluid. then couldnt get it out of it under load. so it would just sit at an rpm and not rev higher. so the red line is rpm of the engine. where it would sit at 6500 rpms for several seconds in 1st or 2nd gear. sometimes it would feel as if rpm are climbing, but data logs showed it took forever. pump was trashed from pinning stator tube wrong.
the trans has an aftermarket 1.80 strait cut gear. but it was assembled as if it had 1.76 stock gear set. wrong length, wrong depth, no fluidd could drain out of the converter. so it stalled the engine more or less. the more power thrown at it. the worse the car ran. i rana 5.80 on 12psi and 5.80 on 26psi. figired it out, when fuel usage(1600lbs/hr was higher than girraff snatch but ran like it made only 600hp. hoping to make tnt tomorrow and run some much faster numbers. 6yrs ive ran this trans not believing anything was wrong with it. as it shifted, drove great on the street, zero flaws. that is till i gave the car a complete over site on the engine and datalogs. had 3 people in 1 week tell me stories of this happening. to somebody they know that just went through it too. all picked up significant et out the gate. if i make it to tnt tomorrow. im truly hoping for some massive drop in et.
engine sounds better, idle fuel correction was 18% today. it pulled fuel cuz it needed that much to stay running st idle before. revs very quickly now and idle is very crispy with what seems more choppy choppy. mokan is the place ill be tnt tomorrow. wish me luck and if God deems it so. ill be reporting a 5.30 or quicker pass for sure. God is great and kept me safe until i fixed that front end toe in nightmare and rear end pinion angle. so everythings for a reason. praise my savior Jesus, Amen.

old input on right. correct length on left. which is also stronger as well. good to 2500hp. as intended. goin performance got me squared up and back together.


i cant thank kendall goin enough for his truly expertise and knowledge about this. guy is a legend and a great friend to have in my corner. if you need a badass race trans of any sort. he is fast, reliable, genually kind and extremely detailed in every part, bolts, washer involved. so that each of his customer get top notch service. also one of the badest back of the track small tire guys on earth.

that is the tiny little amount that wasnt covered by the stator tube being installed wrong originally.

im telling you what i never knew 2days ago. i now know a great deal about how transmissions work. i didnt ask for the knowledge, but man is it mind bending.

Man you’ve had so many bends and turns on this car, never expected a trans issue to hold it back the way it has. Hopefully everything is squared away. We’re all cheering for it man.
 
picked a new personal best mph pass last night on less boost. the car suspension is sooooo much more manageable now. beside the grease *** track till the sun went down. i ran a few 6.11/6.10 passes and then it finally hooked. storms was moving in but i got in this pass. ill post the in car and outside vid later this afternoon. 5.833 isnt a best et, but the 3 extra mph getting there absolutely was. this thing will got 30s if i can just get it to stay planted for the first 250ft ish. if i can get back the 1.28 60ft and the 3.69 best 330 ever. it would roll out. so that what im gonna be laying with.

new plug wires under way. missing so badly. these pos wires arent that old, but been pulled on a gazzilion times. enough so that the plug isnt even getting latched by the wire end. infact its pushing them off. i think ive been racing a 5cyl hemi or less. still got 5 more to pull off and inspect.
