Im 99% sure im going to be picking up a 72 scamp tomorrow. I work with a guy and hes been very upfront with some of the issues BUT I'm getting a very good deal on it. So I want to get an rough idea on some costs before I go out there and take a look. Ive priced out 90% of the things it may need. Some I might not even due since im not going to be turning this into a full restoration. The main issue I seem to have is I cant find a new roof skin replacement for it. I searched on here and online and it seems the one roof skin I cant find. Maybe its me.. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

'67-76 Dart/Valiant 2 dr HT roofs pretty much all interchange as a repair panel. They had sunroof versions later on too. Some pillars and sail panels have some differences however. If you need those also, I'd stick with the '67-72 versions.

Yea I tried that as well with no luck. Thank you though.

You ain't hunting hens teeth.. you've stated you tried everywhere but don't state where you've looked. Those cars are plentiful and easy to source. Google is your friend or in the words of TMM simply start a wanted add.

I know it's far from Florida but try WildCat Auto Wrecking in Oregon. Extensive Mopar yard. They ship.

Provide as much information as you can about the car... pictures make it easier.
List each "need" separately

Good luck

You're lookin for new stuff. If anybody offers anything new reproduction, it'll be news to me.

Yep. its the first time ive looked for it and as I found like every other other body panel I thought someone may offer it. Plus there is so many other Mopar roof skins I thought I just didn't know where to look.

I believe good used is all that's available unless someone knows something I don't...which is entirely possible. They are available for B and E bodies, but I think A bodies are SOL for new stuff, as Harry Callahan would say.

Ive looked for those as well. I found one on ebay in Connecticut but nothing local. the whole idea was just to get an idea on price before I saw the car so I can determine if I need to adjust the price buying it.

I would simply look for a whole parts car. Might even find a whole one in better shape.

I'm not going to be turning this into a full restoration.

The roof skins are not a rare piece by any stretch of the imagination. Find a 4 door with clapped out quarters and salvage the skin from it. If there isn't a roof skin within 50 miles of your location, you "ain't" looking hard enough.
