Hello, just wanted to introduce myself: I am Tom Wood, and am now the proud owner of this 69 Dart GT. I have always loved musclecars, especially Dusters and Darts.

This car was just down the street from me, and was just put up for sale. I know incredibly little about these cars, and even less about this particular car.

I do know that she has matching numbers and 43,000 original miles. A mild 273 powers her.

thanks for looking,
Tom

Welcome aboard, yer gonna love it here!! Love the car. Really you only took one picture of her?? Show some more she looks pretty photogenic

Thanks guys!

I drove by this car for 4 years, staring every time. Yesterday, on a bike ride, we spotted the FOR SALE sign on it. Bought it today!

I too love the trim and roof combo... and the stance. Sounds awesome, too.

OOPS! sorry about the double post. Here's a front angle view of her.

Welcome to FABO!!! You're going to have fun here.
Ask away with any questions you may have as there are some great techs here and lots of knowledge.
BTW, love your '69 Dart! I hope to get my '69 Dart finished one of these years.

Welcome aboard Tom! Well the boys aren't saying it so I will -- I LOVE your handle! :-D Also love that Dart. Make yourself at home, don't be shy with the questions and pics, and enjoy your new family.

We got ya covered here Tom on the answers to your questions. There are guys and gals here that know their stuff about these cars so when ya need to know something just fire away. Glad to have ya on board with the sweet car. Your gonna have fun. Wait till ya meet the celebrities here. Real people.

I really appreciate the warm welcome!

@ Cudachick: I own a bad-*** aquarium shop, hence the name.

I'm trying to find a couple missing emblems/badges for her as well as some interior parts. Any ideas on how to determine what should be there and where to obtain them?

PS: 1. my first time buying 93 octane gas was last night, lol

2. I've never woken up three times in a night to stare into my garage

Tom

Tom

i can see u are missing the V8 fender badges...pretty sure u have to find them used...and i dont think anyone makes the gt emblem for the trunk finish panel either...what interior parts are u wanting/needing?

@ Doug

Thanks for the input. Yes, from preliminary exploration, I think the "V8" fender emblem is what is missing along with the rear GT. Any ideas for sourcing these out?

Inside, I found a bag of trim bezels and what not, along with a radio under the seat! I need a door lock "push/pull" (excuse my ignorance) the chrome part that screws onto the threads.

another question: are the rally wheels an original option on this car? I need the center caps, too.

thanks again, guys (and gals)!

Well hell........no one else will ask so I will.........how much did it set you back?

Oh.......Welcome!
Jim

the wheels didn't come out till 1970...try an ad in parts wanted...i'm sure somebody will be able to help you out... :)
