Am I crazy or is this project Duster way overpriced?

From what others have said: It is a June 1971 build date car, I see a 625 on the fender tag. And the bumper jack slots, they only started those in 1971, a 1970 bumper would not have them? Down the passenger side chrome trim of the windshield, it looks like clear RTV silicone, I guess it had a...

    [WANTED] 727 transbrake

I have a A+A Trans Brake valve body #22770-5. Date code 7/9/11, serial # 111778. Came in a 904 that I bought, I rebuilt the 904 and installed a CRT Trans Brake that works in 1st or 2nd gear. I have not used it. I took the 904 park rod off, it would just need a 727 park rod. I was saving to put...

1969 Race Dart w/ 426 Hemi- garaged for 45+ years

All blasted, welded and painted K member. Also note the cool limiter strap added early in the cars life. Bolts right to one of the factory motor mount hole locations on the block. Simple, effective!

The "S" badge on the back is specific to the 69 "S" tail panel only. Check Laysons, they may repop them. They are a sponsor here, if you tell them you're a fabo member you'll get a discount. @Rick@Laysons is a member and sales rep.

1969 Race Dart w/ 426 Hemi- garaged for 45+ years

Little factory welding, ray Charles style. But notice the horseshoe reinforcement specific to the 340 cars.

    Stroke a 318

there are several 318/390's on here that rev fine, as mentioned it's more to do with heads/cam/induction. at the end of the day the 392 will only be 0.050" under what's considered the 'majic' 4" bore of a 360 so not what you could really call a small bore anyway. neil.

Does this prove David Vizard's 128 lsa formula ?

Well if you go 116 to 108 that's 16-32 lbs-ft but ya go from 110 to 108 not gonna be that huge, 4-8 lbs-ft gain. From what I've noticed on the few lsa comparisons we got, as you go tighter than gains get smaller so going 112 from 116 could get better average gains then going 108 from 112. 110...

Need AC Setup Help for an Original 1970 340 Swinger

If you can go to Chryslers at Carlisle next month you'll see many 67 to 70 Dart and Duster V8 cars with factory air to look at. 71 and later are a little different. Most owners will be happy to talk to you about their cars.

    Non A-body mopar question

All very valid points. You're right. I have no idea what the previous owner drove like. Just that I've tried to be gentle on it since I've owned it. I understand too that they weren't expecting people to still be driving them 50 some years later or that many would have 200k plus miles on them...

No problem. I had my own mixup and initially posted the wrong number (my post #12) trying to respond to your post. Which you responded to before I could edit the post. Anyway, thanks for measuring. Plus, now I know about the Moroso perches. Didn't know that before.

The '69 after-market rear finish panels (black or argent) don't come with any emblems or holes. The one I bought was black, came with hardware but no holes or emblems.

Edit for correction. The original perches still on the housing measure 33/64 in the center hole, NOT 13/64 as I originally stated. I was trying to keep too many numbers in my head to get back to the house from the garage, so I could post easier on the laptop instead of my phone. :realcrazy:

Y'all are exactly right!! I was trying to keep too many numbers in my head and posted the wrong one for the originals, which I will go back and edit now. I went out and measured the original again and it is 33/64. That's the half way good one....the other one is toast! Sorry for the mix up...

    1969 formula s

The emblem holes for the fish and emblem holes for the formula s emblem are in different locations. Other wise trim panel the same. The black is a semi gloss. Like SEM Trim Black would look good although I dont know if its an exact OEM match.
