    Owner hoping for 50k?

At some point in the video they mentioned the motor was 70. That car is definitely a mid to late 70’s car. 74 I’m thinking.

    Amp Meter issues

ALL power goes through those. The amp meter passes power from one to the other while reading the amps. It’s a common fault point. Some of us connect those together as you did and put a volt gauge in instead. A volt meter has to be connected to keyed power, unlike the amp gauge. Do a search for...

    mini starter??

I have seen some knock the nose of the starter off, but never seen the body get moved. On my trans there is a large stud that accommodates that larger hole in the starter body. I wonder if some used a regular bolt in that and that lets the starter move.?

    mini starter??

The one large hole and one smaller is the normal small block/Torque Flight starter. I’m running one on my 5.9/42rh even. Curious why it won’t fit yours.

    Non A-body mopar question

Shoot, one teenage burnout 50 years ago could put a diff on the die list decades later. As far as 7.25’s go, I did multiple 100 yard burnouts for 5 years behind a 318 and then 1 or 2 years with a bit over stock 5.9 Magnum and the 7.25 never blew up. (Yea I felt pretty lucky) I thought 7.25’s...

Maybe. My Brother in law was doing some upholstery and gave me some of the leftovers.

    Remember this car?

We picked this car up locally awhile back, running but barely. It ate its cam but the people kept driving it until the metal of the cam basically ground up the the entire motor. Well my bud Mike was replacing the perfectly fine lightly modded 318 in his 71 Dart with a 440 so had no use for the...

    Phoenix area mechanic recommendations

So here’s where I stand on it after carefully reviewing your posts and pictures. For one, I don’t have a shop or even a garage to put the car and apparent large load of parts. Also I don’t feel I want to deal with, or be responsible for an engine needing a blower, aftermarket fuel system and...

    Phoenix area mechanic recommendations

All clear now. Just so you know, I would pretty much have to have the car and related parts up here. But I will think about it. Do you know what’s keeping it from running? Oh, I went back to your sale post. “Some assembly required” lol. Yea, that would have to be up here.

    65 Dart Charger

This car belongs to one our local Mopar group. He bought the car in 1977 and it now is on it’s third vinyl half top. It currently has a replacement 273, but he has the original motor. He wears a motor out, the swaps in the waiting rebuilt. The car currently has approximately 700k on it. 273, 10...

    Your first mopar...?

My very first Mopar was a 1957 Chrysler Windsor. This pic is not my car, but it looked just like this. I was 13 at the time and it was my first trans swap by myself. I came home from school one day and it was driving out the driveway. My Dad said we needed the money. Ok then.

Need advise on Sub frame connectors

Every early Mopar can benefit greatly from adding subframe connectors. Personally I used 2x3 square stock because 3 inch fits perfect over the existing rear subframe section. I could see the benefit of the US Cartool connectors being welded to the floor pan, but for a driver type car I think...

AM radio to Bluetooth.. or other ideas.

Maybe take a good look at the Bluetooth amps like already mentioned. I have one that receives Bluetooth, usb, memory card and fm stereo. It’s small enough to put in a glove box or console. It cost about 30 bucks and comes with a remote. This is the one I have.

    Which transmission.

904 pan is almost square and the 727 has a kick out on the side. You probably have a 904 in that car. In any case, do yourself a favor and get the gasket for the 42RH. It is rubber over metal and is reusable. If for some reason you have a 727, the 46RH gasket is the one you want. Sealing a pan...

This is a 3 video series on a 71 Dart that we modified. This 318 is now in my 72 yellow Dart. I helped him with some of the stuff like OD install and floor mods it needed, plus the exhaust redesign to go around the Gear Vendors OD. FYI, my YouTube channel is mopars4us. A like and subscribe...

Some bling for the Wife’s 72 dart.

I have no idea and neither does the guy I got it from. All I know for sure is the valve springs are not stock and it has slight lope to the idle.

Some bling for the Wife’s 72 dart.

We picked up this 72 Swinger some time back and it had some issues. It was immediately apparent that it had a valve train problem from the noises it was making in spite of the freshly cut off muffler to try and hide it. It was a completely stock 318 two barrel car with single exhaust. Sure...
