    K-frame alignment?

Cut a used torsion bar in half. Stick it in the crossmember socket. Now take a straight edge off the round lower edge of the 18" long test torsion bar, and shoot a line to the control arm pivot in the K-member. The imaginary line from the crossmember Socket to the control arm socket (or...

VIDS link added...Getting faster over here too finally.

I don't remember having T7D for a big block. Yes, I've been running small blocks for well over 30 years. I loved my big blocks in B bodies, not so much in A bodies. The last big block Dart I had was as exciting stopping as it was going, LOL. Healthy 440, 5.38 gears and 9" brakes, oh the...

    A few 2-Step questions

I am foot braking the car and delay box isn't allowed in Pro ET. Eventually I will go with a transbrake and when I do, the adjustable button from Biondo or something similar will be in the car.

    A few 2-Step questions

Get an adjustable button like the Just-n-Time Button from Biondo. That way you can really refine your lights without having to adjust rpm and what not, just adjust the button. Or get really fancy and just put a delay box in the car and wire it thru that, depending on which classes your going to run.

Does this prove David Vizard's 128 lsa formula ?

I see. But Hughes seems to still be a little different. Also I the formula works for @.050 lift too, which I checked with the cam specs from Comp Cams. So since Hughes only lists their timings @.050, I did a check and cam up with a duration number that does not fall in between the stated...

    Enlarging PRP doesn't always help

With that engine, the car has gone 10.80@123, at 3250lbs. I won’t give too much away, but the peak intake flow of the heads is 200cfm. You can use your favorite performance calculator to figure the HP. Apologies for the thread sidetrack.

@barbee6043 I am still trying to get my brother to buy your car that he learned to drive on. It looks like the one my parents had before the GT. 170 column shifter 3 speed. The shifter mechanism wore out and we installed a Hurst!
