Malwood underdash hydraulic kit for A-Bodies

Mine goes almost the floor but still hits the built in stop just before. I clocked mine to sit lower (Ross will tell you options when you call for tech support on silly things like I did) as my brake pedal is set lower due to limited rod length (story of my life). If installed in stock...

440 power gains/ aluminum head advantages?

Stock pumps (not the high volume Cater mechanical) were made for the everyday cruising low horse engines. BTW the laying over IS what no adequate fuel feels like. Just splice the red pump into the line at the tank with short pieces of rubber hose, ad a switch up front to turn it on before...

    318 Poly Flow Test

Thanks Earlie A for these tests. Very interesting to say the least. It's true that the Poly was never built as a "performance" engine. However, that doesn't make it an engine with zero potential as some say! In fact, the opposite is the reason I run with one. Also, there are obvious reasons...

Which Carb kit do I need

That idle feed is only like .025 very small , if comes out go .002 bigger, comensate for todays leaner fuel. If does not come out go down from top with welders tip cleaner.

That 85-53 clean out plug for idle tube, tap metering block on solid surface falls right out.

How much would you pay for this 340?

Pull both valve covers and the oil pan for a look. You may want to remove a main cap and rod cap to check for signs of bearing damage and crap in the bearings. Look for metal flake in the pan. In the valve covers look for undue rust, broken spring or a dropped valve. Many engines have been sold...

    73 Duster build named Fred

.009 is hard to beat. He might have got you even if you weren't waiting for the toaster for your sammich. I like your exhaust system, and I haven't run my car uncorked in 30 years. Was it faster without the mufflers? I think if I uncorked mine, and actually removed the mufflers and tailpipes...

Saving another one - '62 Valiant

I sold the '62 Valiant today, I didn't even get a chance to list it for sale. A guy in our car club saw it down at the beach spot that we meet up on Tuesday nights, asked me to wait on listing it. Came by today and said he'll buy it. He's out doing the bank run right now.

Plan on going up to WA end of July to get the car. As far as the hand, healing slowly. Still restricted lifting to no more than 10pds. Even that causes a lot of pain. Because I was in a cast all the tendons were affected. I had other injuries to the hand that involved the tendons.

Stolen A-Bodies From CA High Desert

A buddy had a boat, motor and fishing gear stored in a mini-storage in Mississippi years ago. He had a Master brand padlock on the door. Evidently the lock came with the key number inked on the bottom by the keyhole, and he should have scratched it off, and didn’t. He went to get the boat...

    K-frame alignment?

Tapping it in was a NBD kind of thing. Should've done it on the first day. I loosened the k-frame and left it hanging on the hook when I did it, then I tightened that up and checked everything before torquing. The bar is in, the LCA is snug, the bar doesn't touch the header on either side, and...

Can front disc brake swap work with OEM wheels?

For the 73-73 a body sLBP discs You need to get the main swap parts from a donor car: spindle and caliper bracket. You can buy all the replacement parts from auto parts store. Pads, rotor caliper, caliper kits, hoses, bearings, seals, etc. I typed aftermarket 14x6 rally wheel because that's...
