Stop in for a cup of coffee

I always used an air cut off tool, very carefully around the studs to cut down the swedge. They come right off that way. With the new drum on, the wheel will hold it tight to the hub....

Hey I got one for you I see alot of threads on needing a swedge cutter for taking drums off of front hubs. Hell we just put the lug nuts on flush with the end of the stud and hit them with a BFH and they popped right out then to re install them turn the lug over with a washer so the flat side...

Any tips to get my steering wheel all the way on?

I believe my wheel has to go a bit deeper than it is. Horn doesn’t work, and from what I see in other cars, the wheel is not close enough to the end of the steering column. Any advice?

Stop in for a cup of coffee

My old partner and I bought it around 1984 at a machine shop show in Atlantic City. Paid 9k for it then. We used it in the Parts Store to turn drums, rotors and flywheels for customers until 2001, when I sold the Stores to Carquest. They didn't want it. Bought it from them for $200.....

Cost for labor on stroker build?

This made some interesting reading at 3am in the morning. Chevy this, Chevy that. I got a buddy at Keystone that had won a lot of races traveling all over the eastern coast 5-6 years ago. He had a well built small block Chevy in his strip only 66 Chevy II. I was running 6.0’s and he on a good...

Cost for labor on stroker build?

I have a 427 sbc in a G body, the shortblock was built Shafiroff Racing engines, 10/1 comp, AFR 220 heads, Hrc and I can guarantee you it doesn't make 650 hp. 575 maybe. I also have a 512 RB w/Indy EZ, MW port heads 10.5/1 SRC, Indy MW intake for Dommie and it might make 650-675. That's why I'm...
