1964, 1965 or 1966 Barracuda ? Cant seem to find what I need to on the VIN! .

Well, it's not a 66, has to be 64 or 65. It does have 64 Valiant front fenders (at least the one I can see), which would not be correct for a 64 or 65 Barracuda. 64 Valiant front fenders are different than 64 Barracuda front fenders, which are the same as the 65 Barracudas and Valiants. The...

If rust repairs body work paint are well done that is most important. Any other issues will be able to get resolved.

    Oil Light comes on.

I had a cheap one that leaked. Before I had a chance to replace it, it grounded internally and turned the light on. So I found an NOS Chrysler switch on evilbay.

I finally got my hood painted.

A few weeks ago, I posted a thread that basically said, “oh no what have I done?”. I had about six flaws in my hood, so I decided to fix the flaws, sand it down prime it and repaint it. I had some paint left over from where I painted my car. I finally got it done. It came out pretty good.

Smallest wheels you can fit on a 8.8 drum brake rear. Explorer

could do the pumpkin centering by getting a 2nd RH explorer axle and cutting down the width of the housing as outlined in the sticky post up top. that brings overall width down to like 56.75" or so...

    Oil Light comes on.

Get ahold of a pressure gauge and test the pressure. If it is acceptable, Try a new sender. If yours is seeping oil it probably has issues.

If it's a Holley style carburetor, there are "whistle" baffles you can get to take care of that. https://www.holley.com/products/gaskets/carburetor_gaskets/parts/26-89 You can also get them for side hung float bowls.

    Oil Light comes on.

I still have the oil light on mine and it works fine. Although I did add a manual oil pressure gauge under the hood.

I know the ranger would fit better but I already got a great price with the gearing I wanted and a lsd in the explorer axel. I need to see what changes between the ranger and explorer. Or I'm pretty sure the explorer stuff would fit in a ranger housing. No idea if the axel shafts are the same...
