Agreed. I've seem some ugliness with that type of air cleaner. Throw it out so you're not even tempted to use it as a temp.
Btw: First time I've seen this thread. What a saga. Congrats on the progress!
Looks pretty badass!
In the last 4 photos, it looks like they are having a good ol' fashion stare down contest. I wonder which one will blink first. ;)
Joe, how did I miss this thread all this time? You are doing a great job. I am really impressed. I am glad you could use the a-pillars. I knew that the one that was cracked would come out nice since the break was clean. Keep those pics a-comin'.
Mike, you read my mind. I have had my polished ANs and black nylon hosing for a little while now and just haven't gotten that far on the project yet. It is going to look sweet. Keep us updated.
That's right, I almost forgot. Sorry FDR. You are our second Mopar brother from France (at least in the order of who signed up first). Both of you guys are #1 to us.
Mike, it is looking good! This has to be one of the most cautious installations I have ever witnessed. I have never seen so much blue tape, fender covers, hefty bags, cardboard, etc, in any one compartment. ;)
Larry, I just the pics of your car and I think I would do exactly the same thing you are now planning. Hopefully, we'll get a chance to meet up in the near future since we are both in the Bay Area. Good luck.
Welcome to FABO happypizza! Where are you located? If you buddy up to a few local FABOers, they might just give you a helping hand and that thing mobile for the wedding.
Thanks. The wheels were originally black with full caps on them but I wanted them body color with dog dishes. I went to Coach Color and they matched up a pint for me and I sprayed them and cleared them shortly after.
That makes two of us.
I was kind of at my limit as well. I was going...
Welcome to FABO MM340! Lurking since '06 ... what?!? ;) It's looking good so far. Keep us updated. You should contact HawaiiDuster. He has Dusters and parts for sale.
72blu, I've been meaning to tell you this but kept forgetting until now. When the butterscotch '71 was on ebay, we were the last two bidding against each other. Of course, I didn't know that was you at the time. I wanted to have a twin to our '71 butterscotch Dart but am glad it went to a...
bmxican, it doesn't matter that you do not have any Mopar friends at school. You have almost 13K Mopar friends right here. The project is looking great! Are we going to see you at Spring Fling this year?
