Key issues with my newly acquired 69 Barracuda

I have replaced the lock cyl in these without the key. It’s a pain but you can do it if you need to. I used picks and an awl and pried and depressed that little button. I lost my key and temporarily removed all the tumblers so I could use a different key. Recently got a set from Rockauto and...

I think the question was “could this supposed date code 1965 engine be a leftover used by factory 66 or potentially swapped later?”

    Windshield Stainless Trim Retainer Question

Also, the black ones in my pic are close to the same as the green. I also got some from DMT that were short and wide like the OEM. And honestly I used a mix of both on mine. I realized I had the DMT ones but only enough for the windshield, so I used the shortys and the taller ones with no issue

    Building my first 440

I have the trick flow 240’s. Yes. Leaps and bounds. I am quite convinced though at this point, that any aluminum head on the market is going to out perform the cast heads. Just be sure to go through them thoroughly. Some also need specific rocker set ups.

    A833 shifting problem

Only other thing I can think of is one of the synchro keys hanging up, but that would cause the issue to occur while sitting too. Or the 3/4 lever isn’t fully disengaging

    Radiator pressure test

If you get a tub that is deep and wide enough to submerge the radiator, you plug the upper and lower fittings with rubber plugs inside, or caps with hose clamps on the outside. Then make a rubber fitting to go in the cap hole, or fashion something from a cap that you can apply compressed air to...
