It’s hard to believe you are at -3 with offset bushings.

    Some snags with my conversion

Check the runout between crank centerline and the hole in bellhousing. Maybe you need some offset bushings to move it slightly.

Front end rebuild....buy new or rebuild?

BE CAREFUL TO VERY CAREFULLY FOLLOW THE DIRECTIONS FOR OFFSET BUSHINGS!!! THEY CAN ONLY BE ORIENTED ONE WAY AND ANY DEVIATION WILL BE COUNTER PRODUCTIVE.

The man wants MORE caster. How about this idea?

Photo was taken during mockup. Alignment not done yet. I am using the Moog offset bushings and got about 5° caster previously. Hoping to get that again.

    moog offset bushings too big?

So my new UCA moog 7103 are 1.182 diameter outer shells, originals are 1.168 diameter. Arms are for a 1975 Valiant Is that a safe interference fit? The old ones weren't loose at all in the arm. I don't want to split the arms forcing these in. Drive 'em home or put the oldies back?

Fully adjustable upper A-arms for ‘67 Barracuda

I hope you mean positive caster...I run 7.5 degrees positive like a modern car.

    moog offset bushings too big?

...for some time now. I've noticed the quality of the rubber in them has gone downhill dramatically. Add that to the fact that the offset bushings have really thin rubber on the offset side and it's a recipe that I'm no longer in favor of. I know they are more expensive, but I now recommend a...

Do these upper control arm bushing last as long as stock type bushings? Just wondering before switching to these. I want to try them for more adjustability. Thank you.

Hotchkis or Hellwig Front Sway Bar?

You’ll never feel the adjustable tubular upper control arms, custom strut rods, with those tires. The power steering you will feel. Just do the sway bar, shocks, and offset upper control arm bushings installed for more caster. Moog 7103 offset bushings. Thinking bilstien RCD shocks.

I'm thinking I put too small a cam in my 360 Magnum...

I was wondering, I was told that 225 were the best hope with upper arm offset bushings, I erred on the side of caution and got 215 even tho I did the offset bushings

    67-69 barracuda front tire width

It’s very close. Dependent on alignment, production tolerances, and past bodywork. Ive run 15x7 with 4.25 backspace and 225/60/15. 73 disc/spindles, offset upper bushings, poly strut bushings, rubber LCA bushings I’ve seen others try with 73 disk and they have rub. Not sure of their parts...

    Best front suspension rebuild parts?

Hi All, I'm looking for quality: Upper ball joints. Are the Moog K704's any good? Upper control arm bushings Moog K7103 Offset Bushings? or the Moog K408's? Lower control arm bushings? (I think I'm going to buy the Proforged POF-115-10015 bushings from Summit) I'm putting PST 1.03 Torsion...

Fully adjustable upper A-arms for ‘67 Barracuda

It is negative caster, I know how to correctly put offset bushings in, I did alignments for several years at a shop & understand suspension geometry. I’m not doing a pro touring lowered car, it’s not at all the ideal set-up, I’ve got fenderwell headers, short 24.75” tall tires & need it taller...

    73 Duster 340 Suspension Recommendations

...for you labor wise. And will be noticeable. The 1.03 T-bars will be more noticeable than sway bar. The install is a little more involved and a skill level notch up. You can install moog 7103 offset bushings for more caster on your factory UCA’s and be fine for just “improved street handling”

    Strut rod bushings

...rods don't interchange and neither do the bushings. Don't the early one piece install taper forward? And yes, a roll pin not cotter pin. I wonder if using the wrong bushing is messing up the caster on some early front ends leaving guys to believe they need the offset bushings to get enough...

The man wants MORE caster. How about this idea?

How much caster do you need? Just do the moog offset bushings and call it good. They give the caster and a maintain the camber.

    moog problem solvers creating problems....

Maybe that's what I am remembering. They are certainly different from those on the offset bushings. I admit, it's been a long time since I've had a Mopar front end apart.......it's coming soon though. lol

    Borgeson Power Steering Thoughts....

Being a cheapskate, I am happy with my $5 seal fix on my stock PS box and I am going to spend my money on a sway bar, offset bushings and new shocks. I am getting old, like my power steering & drive like a sissy most of the time anyway….

68 Barracuda Front Suspension Rebuild Kit

That means you need the big upper ball joints for the 73 and up spindles. Pretty much everything else stays the same. Most people like the Moog offset uca bushings. Don't go by pictures, often they aren't even for the part you are buying lol.

    Front suspension height

After all that, then this; When you are backing up with the brakes applied, the LCAs will migrate forwards compressing the Strut rod bushings. If you happen to be coming off a drive-on hoist and turning, Contact!, watch for it. I just trimmed my fenders, and could then run 245/50-15s on 8s at...

    Need front suspension guidance

i would go ahead and replace, that stuff is old and has mileage on it. do source good quality components. whether rock auto fills your need or PST kind of depends on what's available and how you intend to use the car. for the uppers i strongly suggest the problem solver offset upper bushings.

Can't seem to find polyurethane or polygraphite OFFSET upper control arm bushings for 70 Dart

I'm rebuilding the front suspension on my 70 Dart that has factory Kelsey Hayes discs up front and factory sway bar. Front end rebuild....buy new or rebuild?

Not exactly true. They can be oriented many ways, depending on WHAT you're doing. But to increase caster, they should be oriented with the bolt hole in the FRONT bushings facing closest to the frame and with the holes in the REAR bushings facing closest to the ball joint. In this way, you're...

Following the SKOSH chart - your experiences?

Nice alignment specs! I think that's the most + caster I've heard of with just factory UCA's and offset bushings. Although at this point I'm more familiar with the A body stuff than B/E, and there are definitely some differences in the suspension geometry.
