I would suggest putting everything on the fire wall like the brake lines and wiper motor and the master cylinder. Its easier now, you wont have to reach over the 340...Good luck with your build....Rich

i just took the one off my 73 Duster and on the backside where it screws into the hood there is zero corrosion and its real shiny metal, almost like a zinc brightness to it. maybe different years used different finishes? there is no signs of black phosphate on this original one owner 73...

i dont want it to rust, car has fresh paint... i have acess to a zinc plater, maybe go that route?

Good Morning, does anyone know what the original finish should be on this latch? im refering to the safety latch that bolts to the under side of the hood. i was thinking that it might be zinc plated, does anyone know for sure..Thanks Rich

yes they do....Jegs, Dantes, and i think Summit also and possibly more vendors. This is the second car that i have used thier scoops, they are well made and i would have no reason to think that your bezels wouldnt fit in thier scoops.

I recently purchased a set for my Duster.. They are made by First Place Auto, they are really nice. I had to wait weeks for them to be made and even longer for the chrome bezels.

Hello FABO, I have a new set of espo springs ready to go into my Duster, i cleaned them and sprayed them with 2K epoxy. I need a recommendation on the paint, I want to paint them black. Can someone recommend a durable off the shelf paint, it must be durable and the correct sheen, not too shiny...

hey guys, im looking for new aftermarket door handles for my 73 Duster, I like the Trim Parts handles, they are authentic restoration product, whatever that means. Everywhere im looking says they are out of stock. Does anyone know of a Trim Parts dealer that might have these in stock....Thanks...

@Oldmanmopar.... I would like to add the decals to my hood, im refering to the hood ladder decal and then paint the rest of the hood in your ford black paint, the stripe ladder decal is matte black, is that the same as flat black? will your paint match my ladder decal. Im getting the ladder...
