Another pic. The fan is definitely mostly 'inside' the shroud.. Removing the spacer seems like it would bring it all the way outside.. Aftermarket bosch temp gauge.

Thanks for the responses.. I have a unknown 6 blade fan and an unknown shroud. It's an automatic and it never boils over and never really runs cooler than 190 no matter the weather. 180 thermostat.

I have the '65 Valiant with a mild built 318 and the stock 2 row radiator with shroud and stock fan and no heater core...I'm running 195 to 210 degrees, a little hotter in traffic...Think that's too hot? I suppose I need to install Heater core and upgrade to a 3 row rad>. Thoughts? Thanks

Kind of. It seems like there are dimples but they seem long, like slots. I cant remember what the frame looks like before re upholstery!

Looking for tips on installing side shields on A body Bucket seats. Seems easy enough but I'm nervous about drilling through brand new re-upholstered seat backs. Are there holes located in the seat frame or am I piloting new ones? Not that I could find the original ones if they were there...

Yea I see what you mean about the 66 roof, it has an 'extra' kinda raised panel detail.. This moulding I have looks different from 66..With only one 'bevel' towords the rear window..I dont know!

Hmm Thanks. I really want to paint the roof black and hide the paint seam with moulding. Wish I could compare 65/66 moulding.

Thanks, Yes I pulled back the headliner and see no evidence of filler, perhaps it never had the trim or did they all come with?

Any thoughts on how to plot new holes for 1/4 to roof belt trim? I can't tell if this Valiant had the trim and the holes were filled or if it came without the moulding...In preparation for painting the roof black I want to re-install this moulding. It will hide the paint line nicely... But where...

I'm looking for something in good shape in Black or White or maybe wood.. I'll check out pics if you have them.
