Thanks a bunch for the responses. Dana, just to confirm- is that the locking strip you're showing engaging with the ends of the side SS pieces? Thanks, Steve

Things Change.. Butters is now getting a 392

I am sure the PCM is controlling the fuel pump relay. It does in the OEM setup, no idea why (or how) Sublime would do it any different.

Things Change.. Butters is now getting a 392

I think it might... not 100% on that. The pump runs for a second or 2 when it's keyed on. So I'm learning towards yes. I do have a plan tho.. Since my battery is in the trunk, it'll be easy to run a fused circuit from it to a relay and use the pump power lead from the Sublime panel to trigger...

Extruded aluminum and C-channel braces in trunk from fender to trunk floor. When they broke during racing, it turned into a 200mph blade for the audience excitement. NASCAR made them put cable inside to retain all 3 pieces after the first time it happened.

    NHL 23-24

Got me a big plate of humble pie this morning. Jets played their best game of the series last night, but Colorado Avalanche move on to round 2 and Winnipeg heads for the golf course. At least they set a new NHL record, first team to give up 5 goals a game in the first five games of the playoffs...

well, I have spoken at length with Grant Janak about converting to a Daytona if needed. NEVER just a wing - ALWAYS the nose also. I really want to keep it more C500, but the aero and stability at speed has huge benefits. The biggest downside of wing car is just in my 20 mile radius, there are 2...

[FOR SALE] cast crank 225 /6 long block core $50

Core cast crank 225, turns freely, pulled due to excessive blow by. It's been a while, but as far as I remember this was a hydraulic cam engine that I used an older, stock solid lifter cam in and is all standard (rod, mains, pistons). The head casting number is 4095778 and it has a car oil pan. I...

...in itself. Changing cams and their respective hardware is pricy in a few ways because the cam profile it'll like is probably going to 'tax' the rockers and pushrods....etc This is a 59* small block. I just mention it all for review to benefit what is practical for the owner given a new...
