Hello...I've tryed 2 rear seat bottoms in my 1970...neither one goes close enough to the floor. There must be a 2-3" gap from the floor to the bottom of the seat bracket....(could store things under there!). You can easily see the "catch" (on the floor)where the seat snaps into. Do duster rear...

Hi guys...the guy doing my upholstery says that my rear seat is not correct...that the front frame should be lower to the floor. The seat I have is about 5 1/2" from the floor(no carpet installed) to the seat frame. Is this correct?...(hope I explained it correctly). Dan
