I traded it for a clean 1985 Ford Bronco 2 and some cash. At the time I needed A/C car and a gas saving ride. Then someone hit me two weeks later. Took off the front end of the Bronco. I still made out OK. I do miss it though.

You should come to a stop riding in nutural, then shift to first.

Hello, Check the linkage, see if you have both bushings on the arms or do you have metal against metal. I had same problem and I made my own bushings for the arms and it shifts great now. Good luck!

The 1965 Red Barracuda I owned, is a factory 273 2 barrel with power steering, NO power brakes and came with the "black box" ??? Maybe the power brakes system was removed? But the "black box" was there and I made sure it wasn't lost when rebuilding the motor. I am just saying!
