Due to gas prices, needing a car that my wife and I can drive, etc. I bought a 95 z28 Camaro that was stock as a rock, hardtop and an automatic.

I am not the biggest fan of its appearance, and it is not easy to get into and out of.

That being said, it is smooth, fast, comfortable, quite efficient on gas etc.

For the price of an average older hobby car, I got a car I drive every day and enjoy.

I totally get the whole "G" machine thing now. It is nice to have a car that does all things.

Not sure how long I will keep it, but for now it is working for me.

My college rommamte picked up a '75 Chevelle Malibu for $1600. Original owner, 84K on the odo, fresh suspension, 350 2-bbl. Found a Laguna S-3 front end and side louvers, got the car painted by a guy he knows, put on dual exhaust, put on a set of rims (from Craigslist) & fresh tires and just cruises it for now. He has about $4500 in it. I'd agree

That's exactly what I am talking about. He is driving and enjoying a nice car instead of throwing massive amounts of money and time at some ratty overpriced turd.

Joey, you got Mopars covered. You got trucks covered. So my vote if you want a really popular forum would be a combination Mustang/Camaro forum. They are extremely popular.

agreed, there is a massive following for stangs and camaros/firebirds.

This post inspired me to start a spreadsheet, but being that I aquired the first one in December 1964 and have had multiple cars at any one time, it's pretty hopeless trying to remember them all, and thats even discounting all the non drivers (parts cars, leaners, etc.) and non owned extended borrow (parents' cars for example). So far I'm up to 45, but even as I'm writing, I've thought of two more not on the list. They're mostly Pontiac, Chevrolet, and Mopar LOL.

I had a 1976 Ford T-bird with a 460 in her, largest t-bird ever made. It was built on the same line as the Lincoln and at the same time I had one of the small ones a 1982 T-bird with a 4.2 Lt... I've always wanted a 65 bird with the swing away steering column and the fighter jet dash with all the buttons

I sold my dart swinger and bought me a punchy 99 Cherokee sport 4x4' for an extra vehicle, kid taxi and hunting rig.
It's the only Mopar the kids like to drive and none of them will let me sell it since they love it to death.
Plan on installing these canyon wheels I restored with 31's once I get meeself a 3" lift kit installed.
I finished off my rear leaf springs this summer hauling an overloaded trailer, not cool but the new springs will be coming with my lift kit once I get the extra dough.

Eventually going to paint it OD green and totally resto-mod this thing and stock it with my oh **** supplies for survival, complete with a faraday cage to protect against EMP's.
I don't have helmets but each seat comes equipped with tin foil hats and ray guns.

Built this 48x48" roof rack for my hunting gear.

I am currently driving a 1995 Daytona Violet BMW M3 Coupe. I am the third owner. It has 110,000 on it and handles like a go-cart thru the turns. I had wanted a small sports car since high school ( along with a 66 Barracuda) and when the E-36 BMW body style came out in 95 I knew I would have one someday. I bought it on the internet in 2009 and drove to Toledo, OH to pick it up. What a ride back to Pittsburgh!!!!! My everyday ride is a 2010 F-150 King Ranch (actually its 2 Siberian Huskies that drag me to work and back). On weekends I mess around with building projects on a 1949 Ford 8-N tractor with a front loader and backhoe.

Rat rods are really popular now too...might be something to consider.

I've owned my share of Mopars, now I have this, 1964 Studebaker Challenger 259 cu.in. V-8, T-10 4spd.

I traded it for a clean 1985 Ford Bronco 2 and some cash. At the time I needed A/C car and a gas saving ride. Then someone hit me two weeks later. Took off the front end of the Bronco. I still made out OK. I do miss it though.

Evan Pratt, nice looking jeep!

Guitar Jones,
"OK, that Granada is just creepy..." LOL, I gave the Art car away at a Halloween Party.
