My 1st choise would be a set of 14" crager SS wheels. I want to stay old school and use 14" wheels. So,this is what I have to work with for now.

I had a pair of ralley wheels with no center cap or trim ring. I painted them black. Here they are with 215/70/R14s on the back of my 62 Lancer. It still needs chrome lug nuts.

I have 3 14" steel SBP wheels and one 13". I need to find one 14" stock steel wheel(SBP). I'm in the Austin Texas area.

Started trying to fit the panel. A lot of back and forth. Test fit, go back and hammer , over and over.

If there is bubbling under the vinyl top it has rust, So, if you want to keep the car remove it and have the rust repaired. I'm not a big fan of vinyl tops myself. I would leave it off and repaint the entire car. I don't know what you budget is for the car. repair as much rust as you can and...

It's 20 gauge cold rolled. I chose it based on research of similar project on the web. Here is the partially formed panel. I need more shrinking in the corner to bring it up higher. I don't have any power hammers , so I'm doing it all by hand, which is a slow process with steel.

I got the seats,carpet,ect removed and the floor cleaned out. Now I can work on some patch panels. I started with a spot in front of the back seat. marked out cardboard pattern marked out cut out.

Thanks, that's what is looks like to me. I'll jump it to ground and see if I get power to the starter. I need to check to see if the tranny is in neutral. The neutral push buttom is missing.

I'm trying to identify the wires going to the starter solenoid. This pic shows the solenoid with the pins marked. One pin has no wire ??? According to my wiring diagram it must be the neutral safety switch. Is that right ?

My 62 Lancer GT has the Neutral button on the dash missing. I'm going to work on the starter/ignition system, so I need to have the tranny in Neutral to activate the neutral safety switch. How can I manually manipulate the linkage to put it in Neutral?

I've seen a lot of cars with bad swirl marks. Many of which were caused by detailers not knowing what they are doing with the high speed polishers. Do not let a detailer touch your car unless they have a no swirl guarantee. Also,the wax can hide the swirls and they won't show up until later.
