ah.........the 727. Your pump seal is gone. When car sits overnite, the fluid drains out of pump. It will last forever like this..but I would always cold start car in neutral to make it last a little longer.

for a street machine I have found a dual plane works much better. Most single planes dont make torque until insane revs. The cast iron spread bore intake is very underated. It works very well on small blocks. If you want fuel economy with this intake...please dont laugh...but a Chebby Rochester...

like he said...the front bearing retainer on an overdrive is about 1/2 inch larger in diameter so unless your little girl on the bellhousing is for a 4spd...the little boy won't fit...

carefull....some 833 overdrives were cast iron too. Lots of cast ones in 1975. Chck the front hub diameter. Overdrive is larger than 4spd. Another give away was overdrive shift tag is reversed on the 3rd 4th rod.

Most pulleys will work. Just try not to mix and match. If you take a pulley from one...get it all....

unless you are revving 8000rpm, an LD340 intake works awesome. I have found for on the street a dual plane intake is the way to go. Lots of bottom end torque. Even the stock 340 cast iron intake works well on the street.

Not sure how rebuilt masters are in the U.S. but in Canada 2 out of fiive rebuilds are faulty. I changed my 70 Duster from drum to disc. Front brake hoses were the same from drum to disc. Used a pro valve from a 73 and I had the same prob. After three masters....ta da!!!

I could show you pics of my 71 Demon with B body rear. With the right wheels it looks fine. I had 15x8 ralleys on it from Coker wheel. They only 'appeared' to be one inch extra per side. May not work on a Dart with big meets as the wheel openings are not as high as Duster and Demon.

It would probably be easier to start off with a 727. A stock 340 torque converter has a mild stall speed. The reason I say 727 is because you said you were increasing power. Only prob with 727 is you will have to resize drive shaft and change front yoke...but worth it.

The rallye dash that came in 70 and 71 340 cars were very similar to those found in 68 and 69 Barracudas . THe main difference was that the 340 cars came with a 150 speedo and the Barracudas with 120 speedo unless it was a 340 car. This style of dash was not availablel with 120 speedo after 1969.

every one is correct. No to 70 demon. Yes 71 and 72 tail lites are the same. Did you demon owners know that there are 6 slats in each tail lite to represent 666? Wonder where the 3rd six lies on the car....

four door hinges are lighter duty than 2 door. There is no left and right for lower hinges..just flipped over.
