My KD Band adjustment procedure is 72 in-lbs , back of 2 1/4 . The broken lever is an A&A part , 4.2 ratio . Think i'll replace it with a billet one from TSR.

We were talking about the Saginaw Type II pumps that came on a lot of GM products. From what I have found in this forum , The pressure can not be reduced internally on the G 3 Hemi pump.

This was a re-lined band , can see the wear marks from anchor and adjusting bolt when purchased. Not sure it's helpful to name the company but i got all parts from a well known trans builder in the US.

Thanks for validating my concern . Yeah I wonder my self ; the QC cant be to good . I believe a lot of bands are relined , not a bad thing as long as the cores are good.

After breaking the Diff I had nagging thoughts of checking the trans . but I assumed the problem occurred when a driveline part let go allowing the trans to free spin . I should have read the advise more carefully
