My car has +5 caster and it drives like a dream. Increased steering effort on the street but it doesn't bother me one bit. Having that much caster and radials front and rear make this thing a dream to drive.
My setup is RMS uppers, RMS strut rods, poly lower bushings, viking DA shocks.
I have some GreenWorks 80V yard stuff. A 21" self propelled mower, handheld leaf blower, and a weed eater/string trimmer.
The mower is awesome, it is amazing how much noise plays apart in mowing being a beat down. The quiet mower actually makes it way more pleasant than I thought it would...
I have a Kinsler stack setup for my W2 small block I am going to be converting over to EFI. I have not heard of driveability problems with stack injection with EFI.
I dialed 6.62 first round. I ended up with a 6.65 dial later on because the track was going away. It dead hooked in the final and I broke out by .002 after killing 3mph.
Just a follow up on this. I ran a local Mopar race here in Tulsa on this past Saturday. I made 6 time trials trying to get my head right with the tree(without much luck).

Brett Miller was able so have some of these cast differently, I am not exactly sure what all is different but there is only 6 or 8 sets out there. That duster has one of the sets. Or at least that is what he told my Dad on drag week last year.
I'd change the oil, run it up to temp then park it. Then on the first fire of the year make sure you get everything good and warm to take care of any moisture.
I usually make small adjustments to the VE Table. The Megasquirt data log viewer has a "VE Analyze" feature that will take the data in parameters you set and adjust it to help it reach your target AFR. I use this a lot, its quick and easy. Sometimes it needs a little smoothing out but usually...
At some point you have draw the line. For one the keepers and retainers are always under pressure, and with the mentality that the keepers could go bad from sitting all winter you should probably back off your head bolts, rod bolts, etc.
Absolutely, coil near plug and efi takes so much work out of tuning changes its unreal. There has been many a test and tune where I made passes, reviewed data logs, and made changes, then made more runs without ever taking my belts off.
I posted on your moparts thread also. My setup has been extremely consistent. Its is a Megasquirt system that I do all the tuning on.
The "self learning" stuff is only as good as the info you give it. Everything really needs a good base tune to hit the AFR targets you choose for your...
I run a solid roller setup that is 275ish@.050 and lift at the valve is around .665. I broke a HS intake rocker on my W2 setup on drag week 2021. I was cruising down the highway at 3500RPM and I heard it then it picked up a miss. I did not have a spare but our timing was good because we...
It was a fun week, I pushed out of the beams in the 3rd round of the bracket race. They let me back up and stage again but in my mind I had already lost and I was flustered and cut a bad light.
Great week though, other than little bit of trouble with my fan connector I had no trouble with...
If you don't have a headliner putting something up there will help a lot. My car doesn't have one and it is the biggest reason for being medium rare in the lanes. On the street its never much of an issue but it always gets me in the lanes.
I went with the CSR shield. I had to beat the seam flat and beat the whole passenger side of the tunnel larger.
I had an empty case I was able to use for mockup and that paid off big time.
Injectors can click pretty loudly, that might be what you are hearing.
I can run the injectors in test mode on my car. Without the engine running the sound they make is surprisingly loud.
I have 4 holes cut inline with the bellhousing bolt holes. Its just below the carpet line and I cover them with sheet metal patches. You can hardly see them and they are a massive time saver even without the shield.
I never ran a temp gauge until recently but I don't feel the shield causes a problem. With an 8" 4500 converter I have seen 200 in the pan once. It was during drag week 21 where we had a 17 mile crawl in 5 lanes of traffic, took 2 hours.
I run a 904 that is stock other than a cheetah valvebody and an A&A spring pack. My car weighs 3550 and has been lots of low 1.4 60s. Easy way to pick up .1 or more. I ran a 727 the same way for over 10 years. Nothing was wrong with the 727 I just wanted to go faster and lose the lbs.
I know all cars seem to be a little different but I had to really beat the floor for clearance to get my CSI shield on a 904. My exhaust is super close to the pan ran and I can't see how a blanket would have worked well for me. My shield came with the mentioned 12 point bolts. I cut holes in...
Wow that is a pretty good value especially with the dominator ECU and not the terminator.
I happen to be registered for Drag Week and my car just needs a converter change to handle this power level. If you want someone to test it in a drag and drive environment I'd be happy to stuff it in my...
