I have adjusted the fuel regulator to 6psi with no improvement. Everything I have seen says webers snort to be supplied over 3.5 psi. The needle valve will not shut tight with a higher pressure.

Hey Matt nice work. I did the same upgrade thru Clifford. When I drove car after installing everything I could not go over 50 mph or up a steep hill with out it sputtering. Like it was starving for gas. According to Clifford performance it should have been ready to go. I adjusted the float but...

904_G won't move in any gear.

The trans filter was identical to old one. I just un bolted the TC and spun it I can here oil sloshing around in it. When I spin TC back and forth I here a slight clunking sound each way. From spining TC it is now about 1/4" away from flex plate. Seems alright, but I am no expert on this.

I rememberd wrong. The trans is a 65 and has 2 holes in filter. I cycles the gear shift many times through all gears. I will do it some more. Am I damaging the trans by running engine and not going into gear? Should'nt the TC just pull up to the flex plate no matter the gap when bolted up? How...

It seemed around 5qrts. Filled my oil change pan a little over half. Also trans oil filter had 3holes in it just like old one. They tied to sell me one with only 2 holes but wad identical in size.

I am not seeing the oil level drop on dip stick. If the TC lost some oil the level would drop on dip stick. I have to take the pan off to see where linkage is connected. It is held in place with a clip. I can't believe it has come off. With no oil at rad pump must not be working. More oil needed?

Yes Mike. Flex plate is bolted to motor and torq converter is bolted to it. Trans is level. I just opened up trans line at rad and have no oil? Could torq converter not be all the way in with trans bolted up?. Trans went in smoothly.

Hi everyone, had trans out with motor. Changed filter and gaskets and hooked up shift cable like it wad before. The torq converter stayed on trans and was not removed. I put 5qts of trans oil in. Engine has about 20 min run time. Oil is on dip stick where it was before. The trans was fine before...

Hi, we just put webber carb on slant six with this trans. Can car be driven without kick down working? Will it damage trans? If you down shift manually when in 3rd and going slow and want to pick up speed quickly be ok for a while? Thanks
