porblem solved. Once i got the door switch out I foud it wasnt conected all the way, and the map light wont work if there is no bulb in it! lol.

Just pulled the aftermarket AC off of my 225, 72 dart if anyone is iterested in it. Has everything there, just might need some new hoses, or just the 1/2" to 1" cut off the ends where they split "and got cut a bit" getting them off. full underdash fan assy works great, system was not blowing...

didnt know that the map light wont turn on when the door is open. think that is the issue with the map light but my dome light still doesnt work when drivers door is open only passenger, worked last week so I think my door switch might have gone out. Also my dash lights arent working now, fuse...

ok so does the map light toggle turn on the overhead dome light? I ask because mine does not do anything. Also if it does, is this tied to the door actuator switch for the dome light? My driverside switch seems to not be working but the passenger side one turns on the dome just fine. Just...

so with shocks though, should you be able to compress by hand? got some new "used 500 mile" monroe fronts and they seem soft for shocks. how can you tell if its bad besides leaking

yeah I got the mmog kit and it has a new bolt. Might have to cut it, not worried about the new one falling out as it has a castle nut and cotter pin so no need for locktite. Just thought maybe there was a trick to getting it out without cutting. Time to bust out the dremel with the cutting wheel.

ok so i have a 72 dart custom with the 225. the issue im having is the bolt for the idler arm that goes through the frame is hitting the foundation for the oil filter. am i missing something or do i have tear the motor half apart to remove this bolt?

ok I know this is going to sound weird but where is the stock bolt for the negative lead to the battery? I had an aftermarket ac in the car I got rid of and now the cable wont reach anything that I can ground to. I might need to get another cable but wondered where they grounded to from dodge.

i have a overflow but i think it is from an older dart and a 318 or bigger. Im getting creative and think I have a way to make it work and still look like it belongs.

They are 7/16 thread, 2 5/8 inside the legs and a little over 6 inches long. per springs and things. who I ordered a set from

great price, was dealing with tryig to ship it but at the rates Im being quoted it puts it outside my budget right now.

Hey Im trying to find a pic of what the overflow jug for the slant 6 looks like. I bought one from a member here and it wont fit at all! I think its for a 318 or bigger judging from the shape of it. Would use it myself but it wont clear the alt or belt for the alt. any ideas?

too bad you have it on ebay. I live in silverdale and have been looking for another dart....but hate doing the ebay thing.

well for the first time in going out to see how much gas I was getting in a shot, I got nothing! then tried again and got a nice strong shot. Wonder if the other times it was jsut a flluke that it was working everytime I tried it before. Finished installing wheel bearings and took it for a drive...

its getting a shot of gas, its a /6, 225 with a holley 1920 on it. Couldn't tell you if it ran properly before due to I just bought it a week ago and it has been that way all along. After the carb rebuild and swapping out plugs, wires, and rotor "no cap" it seems to be better but still does it.
