Hi 70aarcuda, Yes I swapped in a slightly smaller cam and new lifters. Kept the same pushrods. Car runs fine, plenty of oil pumping but very noisy after preloading lifters. I may have to calculate new pushrod length and replace the originals. What do you think.

I was told it was important to install hydraulic lifters with the oil hole pointing to the intake but didnt know if it were true. Lets hear your wisdom!

Ok so I decided to get a repaint on my '71 Duster. No major rust issues but some peeling paint, dents and alot of rock chips. I went with a deeper shade of plum and added silver metallic striping(Thanks challengergary).I need to tackle the interior next, new seats, dash work etc... Let me know...

Hey folks, Selling a pair of front and rear Plymouth Duster bumpers. These were on my '71 and are straight with no major defects. The front bumper has been painted and the rear is faded and slightly pitted. The rear bumper does have an extra hole drilled in it. (old battery cut off switch?)...

I also dealt with Detroit Muscle Technologies. Even with the craziness of moving to a new building they were more than willing to help me out when I stopped by for a new gasket set for my Duster. Awesome People!

I've had good luck on plastic using a squirt or two of silicone spray on a soft cloth then wiping it over the plastic area. it seems to work good on my plastic top to my rear bumper of my F250 and also on the plastic on the outside mirrors.
