How is the hex shaft attached to the waterpump shaft? The impeller is in the vise and the hex shaft just turns. Do I have to hold the pulley?

Anybody know how to remove fan clutch and pulley from 5.2 Magnum water pump. I thought you turned the hex shaft, but I took the water pump off, put the impeller in the vise and turned with a gretbig crescent wrench. I just turns.

Anybody got a good proportioning valve for front discs, rear drums? I need one for a 68 Barracuda. Forget it! I'll find one somewhere else. I'm tired of the rude know-it-alls and junk dealers that stick their noses in other peoples' business when it is not wanted!

Sorry - I meant spindles were late-A unknown. They are disk brake spindles.

I guess I should clarify - I have bought the parts from here, ebay, etc. The upper control arms have new bushings and ball joints. the calipers are reman from ebay. The spindles are late A-unknown. The rotors and brackets are from who knows. Hopefully, they will all fit together! I'm getting...

Well - I thought that too. they make a grommet to fit the hole so I wanted to cut to match the grommet in case I find one.

I'm installing a 2001 5.2L Magnum engine onto a 904 trans. Can anybody give me the location, shape, and dimensions for the notch I need to grind in the bellhousing of the 904 to give access for the crank sensor? Thanks

I saw the 8 1/4 advertised on here from out of Texas . Problem is - how would you ever ship it? I think I'm going to put a wanted ad on CL for the 8 1/4 Jeep. Either with drums or discs. I'm really not to concerned about the rear brakes. I appreciate the replies.

Thanks Redfish - I'm considering welding on some brackets for the sway bar while everything is apart. Seems I've seen some aftermarket brackets that bolt on? Maybe if I could copy that shape in some 3/16 steel and do some tack welds i would be in business?
