I'l going to pick up some good epoxy from work tonight. I'll clean it up, epoxy it up, and then let it set up overnight. Once I do that and get it buttoned back up, I'll update everyone on the results! :thumblef:

I can't say for sure if it happens when driving. Since it leaked I haven't driven it. It leaked out several quarts or so overnight on a pretty level surface.

Ill have to get a look at that oring in the morning. Trail beast, are you saying you plugged the vent hole with epoxy? Or are we talking about one in the tail housing?

For the record, the yoke looked to be in good shape, no grooves or anything.

Welp, this is what that yoke looks like! Also, the "boot" that the yoke end slid into was cracked, but dry... what now!?

I'm going to get started in the morning and keep everyone updated on what I find, thanks for all your help!

I think I'm understanding what you all are saying. I need to pull the yoke out to inspect. My next question is where do I even begin to pull the driveshaft? Do you start at one end or the other?

Ah, I see. I guess that's what I mean! So could I put an AC radiator in a non AC car and be good to go?

So I have a 273 NON-AC Barracuda and I'm in the market for a used radiator. I can't seem to figure out what the difference is between radiators of the same size/year is when one is AC and one is non AC. I'm sure someone one here can explain it to me!

I get it now. It just didn't click in my head (no pun intended). I'll clean the terminals and where the ground wire bolts to rule that out first. Then I'll come back with an update. I used to have a little wire terminal cleaner somewhere....

Thanks for the quick replies. I believe they were wedged in between the posts/ clamps. I'm not home right now or else I would do it again. What's the difference?

Thanks everyone! I folded and took it to a local mechanic, just got it back yesterday. It's nice to have all 8 cylinders firing! :thumleft: It seems to be burning a little oil, and I've heard that the rings could still be trying to seat. Any input?
