I had a good friend who had one behind a chebbie diesel pickup in the late '80s. His truck would need a new tranny every few months.

    Old school underhood superchargers...anyone remember?

I'm pretty sure it was a small company, but I could be wrong. I'm glad I'm not the only one that remembers them!

    Old school underhood superchargers...anyone remember?

Back in the day (early 80's), there was a company that manufactured underhood Roots-type superchargers for several engines, the SBC for sure, but maybe the small block Mopar also. They used two motorcycle superchargers in a cross ram configuration (each blower over the valve cover feeding the...

'67 Barracuda rear lower valence panel question

Anyone know if the '67-'69 rear lower valence panels are all the same? I have a '67 Barracuda convertible, and I need to replace the panel. The one listed by AMD for '67-'69s seems to have somewhat different exhaust cutouts than my original. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

    '67 Barracuda hood movement/adjustment

My 1967 Barracuda has significant side to side movement with the hood open. How much is too much, and is there a way to control it? The springs are strong on the hinges, so I don't think they are totally worn out. Any help is appreciated. Thanks!

    440 Source Aluminum Heads

I hope they're good. I just ordered a air of the CNC ported Stealth heads yesterday. Upgraded the springs, retainers locks and oil seals as I'll be using a hydraulic roller. I just couldn't keep waiting for the Trick Flow heads.

    67 Cuda hood clearance

Thanks is advance for everyone's help. I'm working on a 67 Cuda convertible project with a 383 transplant using the Control Freak K member and front suspension. I need advice on which intake will preserve adequate hood clearance. I don't have a stock 4 bbl intake, the engine was originally a...

    Should I add body stiffeners?

I've used the US Car Tools stiffening kits on an A body and a B body. The improvements in handling and chassis stiffness were immediate and obvious. They were well worth the rather modest cost of the parts.

    Need help with oil options

You have to use a zinc additive if you are running a flat tappet cam. NO exceptions. Use a mineral based break in oil initially and for the first 1000-2000 miles. Using a break in additive with regular oil is to take an unneeded risk. Mineral based oils help the gaskets seat better than a...

    Rear end upgrade??

I suppose that's why there are Mopar and Ford enthusiast sites. I'm a Mopar guy. I don't want a bunch of stinkin' Ford or Chebby parts on my ride. If you consider me ignorant for my opinion, go buy a camaro or mustang.

    Rear end upgrade??

Finding good rear ends is becoming an increasingly problematic situation for Mopar guys as well as in life in general. They're all either too wide in the beam, or just too expensive. Many 318 cars came from the factory with 7.25s, so it might not be that bad unless you are planning on racing...

    67 barracuda numbers

I'd go the Chrysler Historical route. At least that way you'll know if the car actually ever existed. Check the other VIN locations too. As for the paint, there's no telling how many times it may have been redone or replacement parts hung on it in 46 years. I don't think that the 383 Formula...

    what rear end lube?

Use regular gear oil. They don't recommend synthetic. As a gear type anti-slip, no additive for the clutch type units is needed. Save your money and put some Valvoline in there. http://www.eaton.com/Eaton/ProductsServices/Automotive/AutomotiveAftermarket/Differentials/FAQforDifferentials/
