[FOR SALE] Auto console shifter complete assembly

Doing a 4 speed conversion. Just took this out of my 1968 Dart. Note the shift knob is not 1968 and the reverse button pops out for some reason but otherwise this functions well. $200 plus $20 for shipping in continental US. PayPal or you can mail me a check if it clears I’ll mail it to...

    Glovebox

Man, that does the trick. Thanks for taking the time to do this. The pic from behind is what everybody that runs into this problem needs to see - or when they take the door off thy should not wait 2 plus years to put it back on. Lol. Thanks again!

Proportion valve before hydraulic safety switch

Thanks for the advice. Im going to ditch the p valve and try getting buy without it. If i have a problem i am going to add a simple p valve just to the rear line.

Proportion valve before hydraulic safety switch

Lol wrong link. Anyway its the fancy SSBC combo proportioning valve which hooks up to both the front a rear brakes.

Proportion valve before hydraulic safety switch

i installed this proportioning valve on by my MC on my 68 Dart (on which i now have disk brakes all around). The new valve is before the factory hydraulic safety switch which is mounted on the frame. I know the proportioning valve is not supposed to be mounted before a "distribution block." Is...

Here is a pic of an old pin seated in the bushing.

    LCA pivot pin question

Interestingly, I have figured two things out. Both of the new pins do not have enough threads cut on them to draw down tight. In fact, with the nut tightened down the big fat washer just flops around and I can move the lca in and out of the bushing. So, I doubled the washers and got the...

    LCA pivot pin question

This is a pic of my drivers side lca pivot pin as it goes into the k member (68 DART). There is about a quarter of an inch of the pivot pin showing - it's shiny. The nut is tight but not torqued and I can move the lca up and down easily. Does the pivot pin draw down when you torque the nut...

thoughts on these tie rod ends?

Check Mancini racing. Just bought new tie rod ends - all moog and half as much or so as the summit or jegs price. Given the hassle of getting them on and off I wouldn't go with cheap right, IMO.

    AWOL voltage regulator.

Just found this plug thingy on ebay for the Mopar VR. http://www.ebay.com/itm/RPT-10001-voltage-regulator-connector-pigtail-plug-Dodge-Chrysler-Plymouth-Mopar-/301591173455?hash=item46383c194f&vxp=mtr

    AWOL voltage regulator.

AJ/FormS. Yup, I know a VR when I see one. I didn't think to look under the dash though. I'll take a look. But, I think there is not one. My car hadn't been on the road for 15 years when I bought it. It didn't run. I've got a new carb etc on it now and it runs good, for about 10 minutes...

    AWOL voltage regulator.

Abodyjoe. Thanks for posting the wiring diagram. Man I love this forum. I ordered the exact VR you suggest last Sunday or so and I was thinking I need to figure how to wire it up tomorrow and I check in here ....and there ya go. Thanks!

can you help me locate this high pressure power steering hose for me.

You can just get the hose made at most Napa parts stores. They have the correct ends. The trick though is to make a mock up hose by cutting an old hose to length and then taping the old ends on at the exact angle you need. Then tell the Napa guy to copy it. I had the hose you need made...

    AWOL voltage regulator.

Thanks for all the good advice Bill. I think I'm going to patch things up so I can drive my car this summer, and then deal with re-wiring next winter. I've considered the premade wiring harness approach, but it seems unnecessary and expensive. I like your approach better.

    AWOL voltage regulator.

Thanks DDodger and BillGrissom for responding. I am going to to change out the red ground wire when I put a VR in, there is not one on the car right now, I'm sure of that. The whole wiring harness situation is so messed up I am considering starting over.

    AWOL voltage regulator.

In the course of figuring out an ignition problem, I noticed that I do not have a voltage regulator. This is my alt. 2 fld, I believe. I've got a 360 in a 68 Dart. I assume the voltage regulator went missing when the previous owner put in an electronic ignition system, but who knows. Am I...

I need help finding side molding clips for my new 68 dart

I like the Dart. IMO I'd leave that trim off unless the holes for it are still in the body.

    Champion Radiator.

Just did this myself. I got a champion radiator from led foot racing, their shroud, dual fans, and their wiring kit. My lessons learned: the fans are Chinese and can be found on line for half as much ditto the wiring kit, which did not even include the male plug ends needed to connect to the...

    power steering pump pressure hose

Most Napa auto parts stores can make you one. Pretty much any hydraulic hose place can as well. I just did this on my 68 Dart, which has a 360 in it. Prior owner had some cobbled up mess going on. I cut it in two pieces and used the old hose to mock up a new hose ( I got the length figured out...

    champion cc374 rad

Hey 72bluNblu. I'm putting that same radiator in my 68 Dart with a 360., aluminum water pump. Your radiator hoses look like just what I'm going to need. Would you happen to have part number for the top and bottom hose? thanks in advance.

Rear shock opinion for SS springs?

I put on two inch over stock springs on my 68 Dart. I went with QA1, although I did not pop for their adjustable shocks which are pricey. The quality on these is really nice if you care about that sort of thing.

360 harmonic balancer: the new 1 can't be right?

Hey Locomotion. One last question if you know ( and I really appreciate the help I get on this site ) Is the timing cover seal the same part number for the old and new style balancer? Of course Napa has a seal but it's in a gasket kit. Can't open the kit and then find out it's wrong seal (per...

360 harmonic balancer: the new 1 can't be right?

Thanks Locomotion and Swinger 340. I clearly do not have the right balancer. I'm going to order the one from Summit linked by Locomtion. And to those above who find it necessary to flame people, if you don't know what you are talking about you might might want to troll elsewhere. The...

360 harmonic balancer: the new 1 can't be right?

Obviously I left it in the plastic for the simple reason I do not think it is the right one and want to make sure I don't get any **** about returning it. I see there are some clever folks on here. It's kind of reminding me of a jeep forum I gave up on.

360 harmonic balancer: the new 1 can't be right?

Does the new balancer require a different seal on the timing cover? My front seal was not leaking but I'm thinking at this point I may as well pull off the timing cover and replace the seal before I put everything back together. I'm all ears if anybody wants to throw in their 2 cents.

360 harmonic balancer: the new 1 can't be right?

Okay. I've tried to figure this out myself but I'm finding conflicting information. Is this new balancer the correct replacement for my old one? the new one is missing the big chunk of cast metal on the front side, and there is a shield thingy missing on the back side as well. On the other...
