Good thought, but not new mounts.

Did full PST front end rebuild kit on 68 Barracuda. Putting back together and the new idler arm is hitting just about where the headers meet the exhaust. Has anyone experienced something similar?

I was considering doing that, but figured it wasnt necessary. WE your LCAs showing any signs they needed it? What kind of ride do you have with out having done it?

Yeah, the packaging says 67-70 B -body; 67-75 A- body on one sticker and the other says 70-72 E- body. The block looks the same as whats on there, just that bracket. I'll make it work.

What is the difference between A and B body backing plates? I was given a set of Bs for a rear I’m having built and didn’t know if I can use them on my A body. Does bolt pattern come into play with these? I don’t think it does but just want to make sure.

I have been seeing both of these sizes listed for my 68 Barracuda that came w a 318. I understand 1 3/4 is the stock width, but will the 2 1/4 work as well? My guess is no, but possibly there is a reason why they would work, so i just want to be certain.

I put on a Street Demon- Its like a new car with 300 more hp!

As an experiment, I put on a 625 Street Demon. Car runs insanely better! I am sticking with that. I told the guy who rebuilt it, he is blaming the 7lbs fuel pressure. Ran fine with that pressure before the rebuild.
