    Pics of early Barracudas

Lordoffrisco, Interesting, my 66 Formula S was also factory delivered without the sure-grip in a 3.23 open. But, tracked down for $75 a mostly complete 7 1/4 sure-grip w/3.55's. Hope to swap b4 spring. Just seems wrong to not have a SG in there.

    1965 Formula S Barracuda

Good day Y'all, The only motor that came as the standard in the Formula S option was the 273 Commando up until 66. The engine was an option in any other vehicle choice. And the only differences between the Commando/Charger motor was the label on the A/C and some coloration. Keep digging on that...

    66 Barracuda options ?

The retracts were an option and I'm finding many different configurations depending on an actual personally optioned car or whether it came from the factory in that manner. On my 66 FS there are retracts but no center console? Front discs but no sure-grip? Who does that?

    Trunk Lettering 1966 Barracuda

Good day, While not in pristine shape I do have an early date coded unmolested US 66 Formula S w/trunk letters. Pretty sure the Canadian version did not have letters as Tonto7 mentioned or as pictured in your literature.

Differences between 273 Commando Silenced Air Cleaners?

Good evening, Thank you all, I was interested in these insights as well. I've got a 66 Barracuda Formula S that was built in L.A. California purchased in Oregon and it did not have the C.A.P. It would also be considered stock. Thank you, C.

Unfortunately,,,,,,,,,,, this was the weekend to bring the car to indoor storage for the winter and I seem to already be missing that dang car. 66 Formula S

Good eve, Making some more progress. Torn out the interior, re-did the back divider panel with some nice birch and black stain + new carpet, re-did the back seat w/new carpet and polished all the metal, and took over the reading room with more important materials. Will keep plugging along. C.

    66 Formula S

Does have the front discs with only the single master cylinder, no power steering, and unfortunately still has the factory 7 1/4. Nonetheless this thing runs and drives relatively amazing and I haven't even changed out the 20+ year old Monroe's yet. Still considering installing a posi-lock in...
