Got it! A little heat with a crack torch, a few mallet taps and a wood dowel popped it off pretty easily. Thanks again everyone.

Any tricks to getting it off? I am assuming maybe it's hub centric and very tight. All 6 bolts are out and I don't want to destroy the single groove in my persuasion..... Thanks again! Definitely 6 evenly spaced holes

Hello all, trying to remove a single groove pulley and install a 2 groove pulley on my 383. Everything I have found says it should come off without taking off the balancer bolt. Is this correct or do some pulleys get sandwiched under the large bolt? Thanks!

Hi all. I don't have an A-Body but run a 383/727 in my 53 Dodge so I lurk around here for good drivetrain info. I pulled the drivetrain out of another 60's truck build someone else did and ever since I installed it, my 727 has had extremely harsh shifts. I finally got around to it last month...

Looking for a 66-68 Stock A727 Valve Body. I have one with a TF-2 shift kit but want a stocker.

I have a Carter AFB part number 4298s (525 CFM) that is currently installed and in good running shape on my 383. Searches I make show it as a Barracuda setup, I would assume some others too (another place showed 64-67 383, 426, 440)? I have it installed in an automatic (1950 Dodge Coronet)...
