    Crankshaft Pulley Removal

Got it! A little heat with a crack torch, a few mallet taps and a wood dowel popped it off pretty easily. Thanks again everyone.

    Crankshaft Pulley Removal

Any tricks to getting it off? I am assuming maybe it's hub centric and very tight. All 6 bolts are out and I don't want to destroy the single groove in my persuasion..... Thanks again! Definitely 6 evenly spaced holes

    Crankshaft Pulley Removal

Hello all, trying to remove a single groove pulley and install a 2 groove pulley on my 383. Everything I have found says it should come off without taking off the balancer bolt. Is this correct or do some pulleys get sandwiched under the large bolt? Thanks!

Pat Blais is an Awesome Guy

Hi all. I don't have an A-Body but run a 383/727 in my 53 Dodge so I lurk around here for good drivetrain info. I pulled the drivetrain out of another 60's truck build someone else did and ever since I installed it, my 727 has had extremely harsh shifts. I finally got around to it last month...

    [Found!] A727 Stock Valve Body

Thanks for all the help guys! I have been in contact with Pat Blais and he's helping me fix the one I have (not much involved at all) so I don't think I'm needing one at the moment. If that changes, I'll be back in touch. Thanks again to all!

No worries Fred. I installed the kit to the letter but was curious from an engineering point of view. Thanks!

Transgo Shift Kit Question, 727 Notch?

Hi all. General curiosity question here.... Just popped a Transgo shift kit in the 727 I have in the old Dodge. Tried searching around with no luck and am just curious what the notch you file into the valve body does? The kit was an easy install and the filing was easy and it's apparent Transgo...
