Dash cover or dash cap for a '69 Barracuda?

So if 68 is out, would this one be the correct fit, #903?

Dash cover or dash cap for a '69 Barracuda?

Does anyone know if the '68 Barracuda cap (specifically from DashCaps.com, any of these) will fit the '69. I'm looking for the upper portion only. It seems as if it will, especially that top portion, and I can't find anything specific to the '69.

Replacement hood signal light? 69 Barracuda

Now just say a prayer that on the driver's side is actually is a spent bulb and not the whole unit! It does get power, at least along the wire leading to it, so there is a lot of hope. Thanks again!

Replacement hood signal light? 69 Barracuda

Incredible. My electrician (who replaced a column switch for the blinkers to begin with) was swearing up and down that the entire piece was integrated and there wasn't a replacement bulb available, just the entire piece itself. It goes to show us what a fantastic resource this forum is and how...

Replacement hood signal light? 69 Barracuda

Thanks for the tip. I actually just had the car with an electrician who cleaned the contacts on both sides. The passenger side came back but the driver's didn't. Both sides get power at the piece, just one doesn't light up. He seemed convinced it was the piece itself, although he also seemed to...

Replacement hood signal light? 69 Barracuda

I've been searching for a replacement for the hood-mounted light on my 1969 Barracuda. One side works and they both get power, so I think I just need the actual light. It's an integrated, complete unit, not just a bulb, but the whole piece. Any leads? Thanks Noah

Dash cover or dash cap for a '69 Barracuda?

I owe the car the purchase of a proper repair manual. If removing the existing pad is half as easy as you suggest, then you're absolutely right - it would neither preclude doing it nor make it that difficult to do again when I'm ready to do the gauges and bezel.

Dash cover or dash cap for a '69 Barracuda?

Thanks. That pad is exactly what I'm looking for, although I am anticipating a complete dash-redo (gauge bezel, new gauges), so the cap is really the temporary aesthetic fix as I save up for the big job. Seems like B/E&A is really well-respected around here, too. The cap is something I can do...

    Hemi George in Los Angeles/SoCal?

I wasn't trying to disparage him, rather suggest that he was very creative with his solutions. He wasn't stuck on "stock" as the only answer, and made some changes that cut a pretty wide swath across the Mopar spectrum, on everything from the wheels and tires to the motor itself. Thanks entirely...

Dash cover or dash cap for a '69 Barracuda?

Is there a particular manufacturer who is considered the standard for dash caps? My '69 dash seems a little more specific than other A's, so the options seem a little limited. I guess anything 67-69 will fit.

    Hemi George in Los Angeles/SoCal?

Anyone have any dealings with a guy who goes by the name "Hemi George"? I believe he is in Tujunga, Sunland or Sun Valley and is of Mediterranean or Middle Eastern decent. He worked on my godfather's Barracuda over a decade ago, did some wild "Frankenstein" stuff, really funky-yet-functional...

    Hello from Hollywood

Thanks to the both of you. I have an old service manual in the trunk, but I think I'll get a replacement. Which specifically do y'all recommend?

Dash cover or dash cap for a '69 Barracuda?

Hello, I'm a new A-Bodier ('69 Barracuda fastback) and just getting my footing for the correct terms and nomenclature. I've got a cracked dash (the upper portion) and was considering a cover for it, in lieu of a full-on replacement, something that a nitwit like me can install over the...

    Hello from Hollywood

About 15 years ago, my godfather bought his 1969 Barracuda ( 318 ) from the original owner. It had been cared for, but it was a daily driver. The Southern California vibes and weather have been good to it. We've cared for it, but always driven it. I grew up in the car. Last week, my godfather...
