he sold it, and it had black interior and the 7 1/4 rear end and a racing stripe.. on top of the $24K he was asking, i would have had to spend another 6-10 grand to get all the parts i would need to convert the interior to citron gold. I would prefer to find a car with those original options...

this is my favorite picture of Pete's car, those mags just really fit the car well. they are classy, and not 'over-the-top' like some of the rediculous wheels you see on Mecum or Barrett jackson cars

agreed. the interior, well, could have been easily swapped out for original interior, if the next owner wanted to do so, BUT the fender cut headers are a different story.. it could be patched/ repaired, but there would certainly be evidence of the repair underneath the fender well, ie, welds...
