fuel system is all new with the exception of the main line from the tank to pump. it was blown out before the new tank, pick-up hoses, fuel pump and carb lines we installed. fuel when checked is clean.

yes, the twist in molar breather cap is on back order so when i test drove it just left the oil twist cap lose enough to breath.

the pump valve seemed free when i installed it, i pushed the seal back into place re-filled the system and no pump noise and the power steering worked. i know this is not a true fix but as soon as i put pressure on it the seal blew out again. So now i'm going to change the seal out and...

I found then on e-bay through parts mix, mega parts and a couple of others. seem to go for about 12 - 14 dollars. Also of course there is the bone yard in your area.
