Okay thank you. I picked up a 8.25 rear end. With some aftermarket gears etc.. decided to build the car more street... should fit decent from what I've been seeing on forums. I'm going to get a smaller fuel tank, move the leaf springs in a bit and hollow the wheel wells. Kind of like a mini tub...

Hey everyone. Happy Easter.. I have looked everywhere and to no luck have I found a mopar rear end other then the same one I have. 7.25. I found a 57" wide ford 9" and nice gm 10 bolt out of a 67 nova. Should be around 60" wide. Would any of these 2 read ends work for my car? 73 swinger. 440...

Exactly... I know what you mean. Those stroker kits are definitely much more expensive then typical BBC stroker kits. I guess that's what It cost to be a cool mopar guy... lol

Yes I saw those. But I don't want a hemi or aluminum block. I was hoping to find a cast iron 440 block that can handle big bore. Like dart and brodix do for the 454 and 502 blocks...

Found a 440 and 727 trans for 500 obo. Complete and all stock. The motor allegedly has a 440-1 stamp on the block. Out of a 76-78 motor home. Is this a decent engine? I'm wanting to bore and stroke it to the max.. looking to do a high compression. Nitrous engine.

Okay thank you for the reply. I'm going on Sunday to check it out. It's all disassembled. Basically they ran the combo before. And bought new axles and spool posi for it but decided to go a different route. So its currently 100% dissembled. Pics show the axles and spool still in box.

I found a narrowed Dana 60 with 4:56 gears winter posi. Stranger 41 spline gun drilled axles. With chevy pattern I believe.

How much would you list the rear end, Tires, wheels, shocks, and springs for??

Okay thats what I figured. Posted it on facebook market place last night. Trying to sell it to buy a different rear end. And I'm Not sure I'll have to measure it.
