Ok, I give up on the wait till next year fix..the tranny line long ago broke up front and it was replaced by a 13-14" section of rubber hose..it started leaking the other day so I figured that id get new hose and clamps and try to get that to work till next year..well that was FAIL..no ammount...

The other day I noticed that the kickdown wasnt working right. I guess a shoddy repair by someone B4 we(me or my father in law( owned the car finally broke..looks like they tried to epoxy where it broke..Id never noticed father in law never noticed the "repair" but it finally broke. whats better...

I found my kickdown is broken where it attaches back near the firewall the rod was apparently epoxied at one time and that went unnoticed till a few days ago when it broke so now I need a linkage its a console shift 727 in the Dart Sport 340.

I have never run a TQ tried to get it on the car today and found that it comes no where close to matching up with the edelbrock 750 stuff. I was told I need the thermoquad specific kickdown linkage(s) to get it running...Unfoturnately knowing NOTHING about TQ's or even remotely what the linkage...

just got the headlines stuff out EXCEPT the dome light how the hell does that come off/out..I dont want to break it! cant find removal of it tips/diagrams ANYWHERE!

Took some members advice and went with a Demon Sizzler TQ its enroute and I will let you guys know if its a upgrade(nicer) than the 750 eddie thats on the car now and how it works when i get it installed.
