    How tall are the tires? 4.30s and 4.56s are to much gear unless 1/8 mile only 4.10s or 3.91 depending on tire height I thought you were running street tires? Back to back street tires vs drag radials would be interesting :)

    wtf does 1500 or 1800 have to do with anything? the lowest stall is 1800 you are there for a milisecond I could cruise my 243@50 cam no problem 1800 in drive 3.23s 26.99 L-60-14 stock verter People need to learn how to tune

    Stock 340 verter stalls over 2k anything under 2k doesnt even matter tune the setup my 340 268 650 dp 3.23s dead stop punch from 850 rpm smokes the tires instantly tach jumps to 5500 stays there then 15 feet on the 1 to 2 shift at 50ish mph if i so choose now 3.91s will smoke 1st and 2nd 5800...

    100% right ive run all those cams including the 471 street hemi and the 484 the xe268 is stronger then the stock 340 cam across the board if the car is tuned right having it in the 68 340 with nothing more then a stealth and a tuned 650 dp its nit even close 85k all stock 14.3 @97 mph 100k...

    The difference in driveability from stock lifters to rhoads on 243@50 108 lsa in at 106 11 to 1 340 with 3.23s stock verter and 26.99 tall tire was astounding Really needed 4.10s 4000 stall and slicks the spray took the place of gears and verter But i loved going 145 150 mph on the interstate :)

    It had about the same vacuum at idle as my comp 268 its not a big cam iam at 9.9 to 1 that motor is close to mine imo my bottom end has 100k but has great cranking psi 320 hp good stockish 340

    its already been done the holy grail manifolds were 3 or 4 better then the other manifolds that dropped the gain to 10 to 12 hp 15 lb ft torque
