Todd, Hi! Regarding your 833, 90% of your oil issue is leaking from the lower cluster counter shaft. The common fix is to silicone closed the countershaft at the front face of the transmission (where it mates to the bellhousing). We've been working on these transmissions for 25+ years, so...

Terry, As the car would sit in the staging lanes with driver, gas, etc. you should be able to take the bottom bolt off the shock and the shock needs to be able to extend 3 1/2 more inches than that - at a minimum. As far as shocks go, Mopar Performance (P4529516) sells them or you could use...
