So I am looking at a 1971 Demon w/FMTS but there is no code L31 on the fender tag. Is this an option that would normally only be on the build sheet or should it be on the tag? There is no build sheet. The car does have the A46 exterior trim/molding group. Would it be part of that? I would assume...

You have a build sheet, but no fender tag? I assume it's not coded for the V24 hood since I don't think that was available in '72. Is the original paint color on the sheet EV2? Transmission should be D21 for t he 4 spd. Looks like it may have larger rear wheels and darker center caps in the rear.

Not bad, but for the price it's lacking some detail. I wish it were a little LESS expensive and a little MORE correct. :thumleft:

I agree. Seems like a nice car, but what's up with that wing. It certainly does NOT look like an original (70 or 71) wing. Maybe it the angle of the picture but it looks like it came off of some other brand of car. Good luck with the sale! :prayer:

I was interested in that car 2 years ago. That was before I found out it was a column auto and color has been changed. (Not original FJ6) I think it is priced too high even if it was an FJ6 car. :roll::roll::roll:

According to the article this car does not conform. Orange car, should have black interior, no back seat armrests and no carpet. (can not tell for sure if it has carpet from pictures) Wonder if he has a BS or FT? The add does not say much about documentation.

I have always wanted one of those '71 340 Swingers. Too pricey though. I also think the NOM hurts it. Very cool color comb though!

Big difference between asking & getting. 1971 Demons are much more valuable than any 1972 and a very nice (& correct) black 1971 Demon just traded hands for low $20s. There are several nicely restored 1971 Demons for sale right now, some #s matching & some not, but all are high teens to low...
