Hey guys whats the best converter to buy with about 3000 to 3200 stall. I found a couple on ebay for about 320 dollars with shipping but dont really know how good it is havent really heard much about the company selling them.

Here are a few pics of my project that im workin on its going to be a big block 383 with 727 trans im when i find a 8 3/4 rearend im going to have it shortened with 3.91 gears and tub it out so i can get a nice size tire under it i want to go with about 15 inch wide tire.

I want to know how can u tell the difference between an 8 1/4 and 8 3/4 rearend is there anything thats noticeable that different.
