The only thing I had to tweek was the 4 spd linkage / clutch rod was rubbing on the inside of the header...

Help on 69 Cuda front end

Yeah I wondered about that too! The grill and surrounds fit into the header panel pretty good. The holes line up etc but it will not go in on the driver side due to the hood release. I wonder if that piece is from a different year car. Again a picture or someone that can explain how the hood...

Help on 69 Cuda front end

Header panel help...my 69 cuda has a manual hood release on it but my 69 grill will not fit on due to the hood release. I believe the header I have may be for a 67 or 68 and not a 69. Anyone have a 69 that can send a photo to show me how the hood release looks. How does it open? Please send to...

    Speeding Ticket

Ok I was going to stay out of this one but I will toss in my two cents. I agree with the Hellion. The fact you got a speeding ticket is your own fault. You know the area and how fast you were going and admitted to being guilty as %#$#! The idea that some of you have that Insurance companies pay...

    Od 727

Well that sure would change the plans in a hurry since I already have the bottom of the car painted. I will have to get the trans and test fit it to see how much work it will be. Maybe I can get my body man to do that while he still has the car! Thanks for the help! Tom

    Od 727

Thanks guys. This guy I talked to said that the newer trans are basically a 727 case and it would bolt in no problem. As 340mopar said all you have to do is run it on a 12 volt switched curcuit and the od is at your mercy for cruising. He has a trans at his garage that he said is what I need and...

    Od 727

I was talking to a tranny guy last night and he told me that I could put a 727 tranny from a new model dodge truck in my Cuda and have OD just like those expensive kits from Keyslers or the od tailshaft kits. He was talking lock up and non lock up versions and I got lost in all the garble. He...

    Disc brakes

I will soon be ordering a new disc brake conversion kit for my 69 Cuda. I was wondering if you guys had input on which kit seems to work the best. I have priced Master Power, SSBC, and one other one and they seem to be close in price. I also figured it would not save me but a few hundred dollars...
