Well I made it home. Plane landed around 9:00 a.m. My buddy picked me up. Got home by around noon. Unpacked just a few things, went to sleep. Woke up about a half an hour ago. Going to fix me something to eat and go right back to sleep. Happy to be home.

Update. Decided to check the simple stuff and thought I had figured out the issue. I made a twisted pair cable out of an old distributor pickup cable end and two female insulated connectors. Installed that and moved the coil wire away from the new jumper between the module and distributor...

Ooof! That is running it hot. If you really like your transmission- a plate cooler is good but a fan driven cooler is better. Derail makes really nice stuff but expensive.

Check your water drain on the bottom. If a spider or bug makes a nest the water builds up on the coils and freezes. Make sure it is dribbling out water. If not a small amount of compressed air can clean it out. Also- if your Freon is low from a leak- it will short cycle. Not enough pressure...

You didn't mention what type of gauge you have. If it's the factory electric gauge like the one I have on my rallye dash then you could have a bad oil pressure sending unit that's located near the distributor. I had a new Standard PS59 sending unit and the needle on the gauge would go to the...
