The steering column can be rebuilt relatively easy. I just replaced the ignition switch in my Challenger by following the videos from this guy. Very detailed instruction in 3 vids: disassembly, recondition, reassembly. He looks like he rebuilds them if you don't want to do it.

The thrust function of the bearing is shot. Had one do that and you could turn with screwdriver and peg it to 120. Inspected it and no way to repair it. Repair shops can refurbish for over $200. Buy used one from Stephens salvage for bout $100.

I don't know if my 74 Duster had original but it is pot metal mostly. It is heavy as hell and rattles. I took it out and plan to make a fiberglass replacement.

After bottom seat is out, there are 2 bolts on wire ears at lower edge. Then lift seat back up from hooks.

Are you talking about the spring clips? Is the problem that the board is chewed up? The screws will work since the panel has been cut for speaker anyway. You can make a new board from masonite and paste/staple the vinyl to it.

The roller slides are the same on some bench tracks as on bucket ones. I have swapped the roller slides onto my 74 bucket seats.

The slider assy is same on bench seats. You just have to modify/fab the riser part to fit your floor pan.

I just checked jimsautoparts.com which has lots of body parts on their site. They have console brackets for B and E bodies, but don't list A bodies. You could give them call as they have bunch of A body stuff. Never ordered from them but just found site.

The bolts/holes on bottom of seat bolt to the slide assy on the stand or bracket The bracket bolts for floor are closer spaced than the ones on seat. I'm not sure if bracket is same as for bench seat. I do know that the slide assy is same for bucket as for bench.
