I went with an aftermarket heavy duty one which just went into the Dart yesterday. Performance Torque Converters (PTC) out of Muscle Shoals, AL., recommended using one with the new converter I bought from them. I'm running a 340 and 727 with 380 HP @ the crank.

That's the extent of it from what I know of mine. I bought new axles and a four wheel disc conversion kit and that was that.

Mine has the numbers on the Driver's side cast into the housing. Haven't seen/heard of one w/o numbers before.

Can anyone tell me what rear end have here from the casting numbers? Just curious as to what it is. As far as I know, it is original equipment, but I've changed the gears to a set of posi 3:55 ratio about two years ago.
