    Barracuda No-Start

    Are you assuming there is no spark because the engine is not starting or is there actually NO SPARK while the engine is cranking? Have you verified the distributor is turning, by taking the cap off, while you crank the engine?

    Inconsistent idling problem

    Lots of possibilities but over the years my experience with wildly changing idle has been traced to erratic vacuum leaks like a bad PVC valve, rotten/split vacuum hose or maybe a leaking power brake booster diaphragm. Just my 2c
