    Red stripe tires

IMO, it depends on the wheels. Because they stopped using redlines in 1969, I personally think they look out of place on rallye wheels. I like them on painted wheels with dog dish caps and with the GTS style hubcaps. Also with the 5 spoke road wheels.

    1970 340 Swinger tire/wheel combos

My dart's broadcast sheet said 21 under road and wheel cover was blank...and that car had rallyes. your sheet says TX9 so your wheels were painted black and ralleys would be argent. WSW would be White Side Wall. Maybe someone alse knows for sure but thats my interpritation.

    1970 340 Swinger tire/wheel combos

I wouldnt get frustrated with anyone trying to learn. We all learn everyday. As for redlines, they were not available after 1969.

    1970 340 Swinger tire/wheel combos

I know it happened becuase I had more than a few 70 340 Darts over of the years that were original and were equipt with hubcaps (dog dishes), wheelcovers and rallye wheels. You have to remember, not all cars came with Broadcast sheets, and when Chrysler was making print ads back then... as well...

    1970 340 Swinger tire/wheel combos

The painted wheel/dog dish was standard. the black wheel/full wheel cover was optional, as was the rallye wheel.

    Popular wheels for SBP

Choices are limited...both new and used. I had Cragars and Torque thrust's on my Swinger back in the day (about 25 years ago).I really like the looks of the Cragars, it just fits the style of the car better in my opinion.

    Dumb hubcap question

I believe they are all the same. I have never heard or seen different sized caps and I have had them on quite a few cars over the years.

Poll, go polyglass or stay radial!

Polyglass tires make the car feel and handle totally different than radials. I have had poly's on a couple of cars...but now since I drive my cars more than I show them, I use radials.

    Stationary wheel discs

There was a post on here last week about stationary wheel discs. Someone was going to reproduce them with different logos. I couldn't find the original post, but I found a good picture of an original disc on a 69 Road Runner. They really are a site. The disc stays still as the wheel...

    Unilug wheels

I had uni-lug wheels on a Charger years ago. They were a real pain to install and the washer always seemed to mushroom if you tightened them too much. If it were me, I would pass on them.

    Which Wheels?

I like the way you think, Magnums on the ragtop and Mirada wheels on the wagon.
