Probably more opinion than fact your best off with the 8 3/4.Easier to work on,parts are plentiful and nothing else as far as gears you can have a spare 3rd member sitting around and swap the whole thing when needed.Always alot of used sets around for not much $.

I have a B&M hammer in my dart,i like it.I do like the Hurst quarter as well,looks like it would be a better shifter for drag racing.

Anyone run one of these?Wont complete the shift,wondering if it needs a lighter detent spring?Cables new,shifter is shifting free just wont go all the way into gear.
