Yup, they got really good heads. Also, the later 5.7 Eagle heads flow AWESOME! I’ll be honest, this isn’t going to be cheap, doing this swap is gonna cost, you can save some here/there, but I’d be willing to bet 5k at the minimum.

You can get used injectors (the rails 5.7 Hemi). I’d just go stroker right out the gate. It’ll save time/money in the long run, plus make more power. This engine ya want, is it for a swap or going to replace another engine in a late model?

I’d buy at 1k. Hell, you could get a stroker kit and not worry about the crank.

With a complete engine, I’d go no more than 2k.

Negative Ghostrider. Take the oil pan off. Bottom holes both sides for the lower engine stand mounts. Top 2 holes for the top engine stand mounts.

It comes as a complete set, gears, chain, guides etc.

Installing a 6.1 hemi, since the alternator is regulated by the pcm and it’s way more amperage that the stock set up (factory 318), does the ammeter get tied together so it bypasses the ammeter gauge?

With stock gauges, what is done with the ammeter?

Any 3 speed shifter will work. With that said, I used a B&M cable from my shifter (64' Polara 500) to the 545rfe. Some minor adjusting and I was in business.

I had mine come on 200 and whenever the ac was on also used a Jet 180 tstat.

203 is stock t-stat.
